Good Morning :)
Most of the medical field professional has this. Like especially when you go into sub-specialistation and super specialisation. The surgeon say - it's my case i am operating i am the bossThe anaesthetist says - without me the surgery cannot happen, though the patient doesnt know me still i am the bossThe radiologist says - I am going to tell you whether you can operate it or not based on my finding i am the bossThe pathologist says - I said it's cancer or not, you just had a query, i am the bossThe internal medicine says - I did a through evaluation and found the initial mistake which can be treated surgical and referred to the surgeon, i am the boss. And i am sure you must have found/heard/experienced this in almost every department during your internship. I find this very toxic. That too when it's kind of forced into young medical graduates yet to make the mark in the field. There is no boss here, all are servants - serving the patient who is the needy (to put in realistic world - servants who serve the patients who pays you) that's all. The case ends there ! Why do we need to find who is superior, rather than just do our jobs perfectly and feel very happy about it ! More than enough isn't ?Think again. next time when there is a conversation or you want to convey anything to the younger generation - tell them it holistic medicine and just do your part correctly and walk away !!! Infact there is only one boss - The Universal Boss 😎 , Chris Gayle !Now chuck all - Just smile and a very good morning !!
