What are we trying to do in life ?
With studies - its' almost every other day. With work again it's almost every other day. So where is life. ?
The quality of life for the most successful doctors is very much damaged in our country. I would not blame the younger generation for it. I would say the ideas imposed on us to work for the society. ! "The god complex" and the "super ego" given to us passively with the degree of MBBS.
This should change. !
Yes job is important,
Yes service is important,
Yes money is important.
But more important than that is happiness. And your goal should be directed towards it.
Not just now, through out your carrier as a Doctor and even after that. Take atleast a day off from the routine every week. RELAX !! Take atleast a 10-15 days off every and go out for a trip. Relax !! I haven't done this for past many years due to hectic work, but i always wanted to do it. I am doing it late, but i want you guys to do it and start it early. Habit and that too good ones should be started early and cherished!
During your prep time - Watching a movie or going on a video call with frnd groups/family every sunday should become a routine. And believe me you won't loose your rank because of it. (As if we don't waste time otherwise)
A lazy sunday morning... :) Better Late than Never. !
