I had announced the quiz yesterday and a good number of students, texted back saying something in similar grounds 

"Sir, I am an average student can I win ? Should i participate - there are many students who has been involved in quizzes in my college, anyway they only will win so i am not going to attend"

This is a common thought process in many of our minds, and this should change. I am not saying everyone will win, there can be only one at the top, but the hesitancy to attend it ?? What is stopping you from attending it ??

Let's say you become a surgeon and you start practising -  there will be one old surgeon with 20+ years experience, obviously he will be better than you as a fresher -  So will you quit your job ? No, never (who will give us food)  -  At any point of time in your life you will have a person who is on the top, but at the same time - Everyone on the top will be replaced by a better person.  And you could be the better person here who knows. If not you had the experience of attending the quiz ! -
