  • This Radioactive Uptake scan shows increased uptake in the Right lobe of thyroid.  Rest of the gland does not have uptake. So it is a toxic nodule, other name is Goetsch’s disease.
  • Grave’s disease (Basedow’s disease) has diffuse homogenous uptake all over the gland. Plummer’s disease (Toxic MNG) has diffuse heterogenous uptake in the gland.
