Structures passing through the Superior orbital fissure

Above the common tendinous ring: 

• Lacrimal nerve
• Frontal nerve
• Trochlear nerve
• Superior opthalmic vein

Within the common tendinous ring: 

• Both divisions of oculomotor nerve
• Abducens nerve
• Nasociliary nerve

Below the common tendinous ring (Inferomedial compartment)

• Inferior ophthalmic vein
