Dear students,You all must be having something burning desire to do from childhood or some thing which you want to do as you grew up. Some ambition of yours. Whatever it may be - like to visit a place or meet someone or anything., just a sort which is like your life time goal. Most of the time the inbuilt desire goes away with our work pressure. This is a day to re-invent yourself. Something in your bucket list. Put as a comment what was the one thing you want to do for long ?! Which you have not done and completing that one task will give you immense satisfaction. ? (Please do not tell to get a good rank in NEET/INI, that's never and should never be a life time goal) Mine is to meet Vladimir Putin once ! Anything you get easily will be gone easily as well. Take the path less travelled and make it your own destiny :) Good morning #pathocubs

All work and No play ?

What are we trying to do in life ? With studies - its' almost every other day. With work again it's almost every other day.  So where is life. ? The quality of life for the most successful doctors is very much damaged in our country. I would not blame the younger generation for it. I would say the ideas imposed on us to work for the society. ! "The god complex" and the "super ego" given to us passively with the degree of MBBS. This should change. !Yes job is important,Yes service is important,Yes money is important. But more important than that is happiness. And your goal should be directed towards it. Not just now, through out your carrier as a Doctor and even after that. Take atleast a day off from the routine every week.  RELAX !! Take atleast a 10-15 days off every and go out for a trip. Relax !!   I haven't done this for past many years due to hectic work, but i always wanted to do it. I am doing it late, but i want you guys to do it and start it early. Habit and that too good ones should be started early and cherished! During your prep time -  Watching a movie or going on a video call with frnd groups/family every sunday should become a routine. And believe me you won't loose your rank because of it. (As if we don't waste time otherwise) A lazy sunday morning... :) Better Late than Never. !

Active learning vs Passive learning

During preparation of any exam there are two processes - Active and Passive learning. Both are very very essential and any student who is preparing for exam should do both. Passive learning  - Listening to lecture, very relaxed and reading your notes after thatActive learning - Solving questions, understanding your errors, correcting them and improving. Most of the students do the passive learning very efficiently, but are not so keen in active learning.  Students believe that active learning will make them depressed and will not be able to continue reading further if they get a poor mark. No it's absolutely wrong. You guys learn for hours together, but without practice all your reading is incomplete. Please practice MCQ's, attend the vignettes posted here, attend the exams in Patho revision series and improve. ! Both are needed for your success, not on here also in your entire carrier - Be bold, Be confident, Make mistake and Improve. You guys are trained to revive a heart that has stopped., who had ingrained the fear in you in solving a shitty MCQ ?? Funny isn't. Go beaming with confidence and let the examiner and the exam fret. Now start your morning with a big smile ! A very good morning :)
